This will be my first blog post for 2024.
I have been meaning to do so for some time but I guess three months into the new year and I am realising that a nearly a quarter of the year has already passed.
For those that have been following me on social media you will have realised that my jewellery has taken precedence in my artwork. If you told me why I have gone down this path I would say firstly I am finding it immensely enjoyable. Seeing a small work come to life is immensely gratifying and secondly it is a case of time. I am working mostly late in the evening now and I do not have much energy to do work at the end of the day. These small pieces are like little jewels in my eyes and give me immense joy.
It is also very satisfying to see people wear your art so to speak and have a piece of your work being appreciated and enjoyed.
Who knows what the year will bring and if I will continue along this path.
Thank you for all the wonderful feedback I have received so far it has been tremendously heart warming and gives me the courage to continue and explore.
